Over TURN OF PHRASE (UK) + COMPETE (AT) + 32 ELEPHANTS

TURN OF PHRASE (00's melodic hardcore, UK – Sunday Drive / Scheme Records) Turn of Phrase formed in early 2025 between London and Brighton. The band brings a fresh shot of melodic-hardcore that pulls straight from '90s post-hardcore and emo bands like Lifetime and Texas is the Reason, while channelling the speed and intensity of early-2000's Posi Fest-era hardcore bands like Count Me Out, Panic, and Crime In Stereo. Their five track demo, 'Finish Just To Begin' released earlier last year on Burning Water Records in the UK, is now being released for the first time in the US via Sunday Drive Records, while the band is about to release a new record via Scheme Records sooner or later. COMPETE (youth crew, AT – STTW Records) Compete is a new band from Vienna, featuring both familiar and fresh faces from the Austrian HC scene. They deliver fast, high-energy Youth Crew bangers, without sounding cheesy. Something which most euro YC acts are not capable of. FFO: Lockin' Out, Free Spirit, or Euro bands like Rapture and Domain. 32 ELEPHANTS (90s emo, NL) Moves between emo and post-hardcore, combining melodic hooks, emotionally charged lyrics, and bursts of cathartic energy. FFO early 2000s emo with a fresh hardcore edge.

OCCII is een zelfbeheerd podium in Amsterdam-Zuid, al decennialang een vaste plek voor underground muziek buiten de commerciële circuits. De programmering draait om punk, hardcore, post-punk, experimentele muziek en avant-garde, met regelmatig internationale acts naast lokale bands.
