Over Het Concertgebouw

Het Concertgebouw is een klassieke concertzaal uit 1888 aan het Museumplein, met twee zalen waarvan de Grote Zaal internationaal bekendstaat om zijn akoestiek. De programmering draait grotendeels om klassieke muziek: symfonieën, kamermuziek, opera en orgelconcerten, verzorgd door gezelschappen als het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest en internationale gasten. Daarnaast is er ruimte voor hedendaagse componisten, jazz en wereldmuziek. Vaste series als het Zondagochtend Concert richten zich op een breed publiek; festival-edities als Mind the Gap! verkennen minder bekende repertoires.
