Over Kurashi
Kurashi hosts Paradiso for the very first time. The Curaçao- and Amsterdam-based collective presents a face-to-face setup where DJs go head-to-head throughout the night, joined by live bands and acts that fuse electronic music with live elements. Expect high-energy sounds ranging from bouyon and bubbling to much more. In the basement, a curated lineup of local DJs representing the Caribbean.
Over Paradiso
Paradiso opende op 30 maart 1968 als 'Kosmisch Ontspanningscentrum' in een voormalige kerk aan het Leidseplein en is sindsdien uitgegroeid tot poppodium, nachtclub en cultuurpaleis in één. Het programma omvat meer dan duizend evenementen per jaar op verschillende locaties in Amsterdam, van concerten en clubnachten tot exposities en talentontwikkeling via Paradiso R&D. Muzikaal loopt het breed: soul, r&b, folk, jazz, hip-hop en indie passeren de revue. Paradiso beheert ook een eigen platenlabel, de Paradiso Vinyl Club, gericht op Nederlandse artiesten.
