Junglists, are you ready? After three absolutely thrilling nights of collectively testing the limits of the sound system (and the structural integrity of this building), we are back on our beloved stomping grounds. On May 30th, we are taking over the darkness of the iconic OT301 once again. You know us. You know the vibe. You know what we stand for. If you've been with us for the previous editions, you know we take no prisoners. We play all kinds of broken beats. Real, broken, deep, old-school, and uncompromising stuff. No half-measures—just pure energy and vibrations that penetrate straight through your chest. D.Tee (Scorched Earth Records / UK) is Direct from London, the co-founder of Scorched Earth Records. Expect high-intensity rinseout jungle that leaves absolutely no prisoners. He's coming over to supply a relentless workout for the dancefloor and push the OT301 bass bins to their absolute breaking point. F-Key (Breakbeats for Breakfast/Tribe/Wettje Leggen) is representing the Breakbeats for Breakfast crew, our resident wildcard for the night. Masterfully shifting gears anywhere from a steady 90 to a blistering 180 BPM, you truly never know what's about to hit you. Triphop, funk, dark breakbeats, or full-throttle jungle and D&B—get ready to ride percussive grooves and raw 90s vibes that flip from soulful to straight-up sinister. Frizzo is a Dutch curator whose alias and sound have been heavily reshaped by proper UK underground influence. After starting out digitally, Frizzo found his true calling in the wax. He'll be digging deep into a meticulously curated, vinyl-only archive of jungle, heavy breakbeats, and old-school UK hardcore. Strictly for the wax heads. Gosha (Dubface) is an everyday junglist from Dordrecht and a driving force behind the Dubface events. Gosha lives, breathes, and studies the history of the scene—spending hours locked into original pirate radio tapes. He's bringing the authentic, classic jungle sound to the floor. Whether it's funky, jazzy, atmospheric, or beautifully dark, he's got the whole spectrum covered. (You might also know him tearing up the streams under his Lingolord alias). DJ Lis (Amsterdam Junglist Kru) is representing the infamous Amsterdam Junglist Kru, bringing a sound defined by pure jungle, deep, chest-rattling sub-bass, fast-paced footwork, and early rave, all heavily rooted in dub and reggae. Her sets are a high-tempo, atmospheric journey guaranteed to lock you in and keep you moving until the lights come on. Over OT301
OT301 is een zelfbeheerd cultureel centrum op de Overtoom in Amsterdam-West, opgericht na een kraakactie in 1999 en sinds 2006 in handen van de coöperatieve vereniging EHBK. Het pand combineert woningen, werkruimtes en publieke functies onder één dak: de Ventilator cinema/bar, concertstudio's, de vegancafé Gilde, galerieruimte 4Bid en dansstudio's. De programmering loopt uiteen van techno, drum and bass en jungle-nights tot performances, exposities, filmscreenings en workshops. De plek trekt een underground, politiek-bewust publiek en draait volledig not-for-profit.
