Over Pretty//Ugly: Lionstorm + Pretty Ugly + Sweetened Iced Tea

LIONSTORM is returning to OCCII in this *FLINTA line up. LIONSTORM is a heavy queercore duo from Amsterdam, the Netherlands consisting of romantic partners Ski and Stars. They labelled their energetic gory style Dyke Goth Drill and make music based in the horrorcore, industrial metal and reggaeton genres. Their work embodies queerness, weirdness and challenging social norms. Their raw style reflects in their lyrics, performances, music videos, and merchandise which they all release under the same label. They've collaborated with pioneers such as Quay Dash, Grove and Backxwash. They are known for their extreme live performances, expect to twerk in the middle of a bloody mosh pit. Leave your expectations at the door and get pulled into LIONSTORM's world. It got them a Japanese and European tour and shows at festivals such as Rolling Loud Netherlands The Great Escape UK and Fusion Festival Germany. The duo isn't afraid of tearing down societal expectations, resulting in bans on all social platforms (even YouTube) but that only makes them more dedicated to their mission. Their debut album KING IS DEAD is set to release February 2027 and will reintroduce them more musically diverse and bloodthirsty than ever. Pretty Ugly Court jester, truth teller, part-time medium & your fav twink. In prettyugly's repertoire, you will find a mix of gym bro culture, mysticism, truths in drag, shapeshifting, speculation, a passion for mirrors, disappearance-into-noise, and at times gay porn (with a touch of romance). Prettyugly likes images that collapse on themselves. They work with worldbuilding, creating stories as if they were a house of cards, which they dismantle with a blow and patiently build from scratch again. Sweetened Iced Tea Born in Florida with a hunger for answers and a rage that keeps him looking for them. Sweetened Iced Tea is a producer, vocalist and storyteller who enjoys the buzzing of old tech, speaker fucking, sci-fi, erotica and exploring the human condition in relation to the computers we use (or used 2 use) on the daily. After 2 EP's he is now working on his debut album "Cellular" which is a concept album about: AI, Orwellian governmental control, how to fight back against such a system, old tech & the things we must learn from them to move forward. Making hyperpop, industrial, noise—anything can be hidden in his mixes, from TV static to AK-M's being shot or even car crashes, with enough distortion Sweetened Iced Tea will welcome it in the track. Sweetened Iced Tea creates a universe where all his questions are answered by the sweet rumble of noise.
