Benefit party for the Maloe Melo! This Amsterdam staple is the oldest Blues and Rock N Roll Bar and music venue of Europe, and it needs some sprucing up! All proceeds of this evening will go to this legendary place. Come, dance and donate! Octopus is a maniacal four-piece psychedelic garage rock band straight from the Dutch underground. By cooking up elements from 60s psychedelic rock, punk and indie they create a recipe for brilliant disaster. George & The Rams mix 70's vibes in an explosive, modern style. From the disco of Chic to the yacht rock of Steely Dan, with a touch of Al Green. Danceable and sunny.

Over De Nieuwe Anita
De Nieuwe Anita is een klein podium en café in de Staatsliedenbuurt in Amsterdam-West, opgericht in 2001. De kelder en begane grond herbergen een breed scala aan programma's: live muziek van startende en rondtoerende acts, wekelijkse filmavonden (Cinemanita), literaire avonden (Literanita), open-mic sessies, stand-upcomedy, spoken word en lezingen. Vaste reeksen zoals de dinsdagse akoestische avond Witte Gei't? en de maandelijkse Amsterdam BeatClub geven de plek een trouw stamgastenkarakter. De cocktailbar is een apart aandachtspunt.
